We have an opening for a Senior Tech Manufacturing / Operations in our Production Facility in Goleta, California, that is involved in the packaging of IR detectors for high reliability space, military and commercial applications. You will train to become a skilled Final Test Technician in a variety of processes as assigned by management. You will be tasked with performing several different types of tests while utilizing different procedures and software. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • Manufacturing Test experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with IR Systems, Focal Plane Assembly packaging processes
  • Experience with FOD and FOD-prevention methods
  • Experience with ESD protocols
  • Experience with Cryogenic gases and liquids
  • Matlab, David Core, or Testlib knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision you will apply intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
  • Solves basic problems and conduct test measurements utilizing multimeter
  • Use several types of small hand tools and calibrated equipment
  • Conduct Final Acceptance Testing on multiple programs
  • Rotate to and from Cleanroom lab environments
  • This is a 1st shift, onsite position in Goleta, CA
