There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.

As a Senior Test Systems Design Engineer at Micron Technology, you will be an integral part of the Systems Integration Group (SIG), focusing on the development of internal test equipment and solutions that are crucial for Micron's product roadmap. This role emphasizes the design and implementation of both software and hardware that support high-speed component and module test applications across various DRAM product families, including Compute, Graphics, and Mobile. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure the successful deployment and utilization of this equipment in Micron's manufacturing and engineering sites, making this a high-impact opportunity with significant potential for professional development and growth. Your primary responsibilities will include developing test equipment and supporting hardware, software, and processes. You will work closely with key functional groups to support the development and deployment of internal test solutions. This involves collaborating with equipment engineering on the design of tester hardware and software, as well as developing interface libraries that facilitate the integration of test programs and automation with tester system software. Additionally, you will design application-specific hardware, software, and processes necessary for the tester to meet specifications in various manufacturing and engineering applications. Another critical aspect of your role will be to analyze tester requirements and capabilities. You will perform continuous gap analysis between existing tester capabilities and product roadmaps to identify areas for new tester development. Establishing and maintaining internal tester roadmaps in conjunction with product and test/probe engineering groups will be essential. You will also conduct controlled evaluations and design experiments to understand tester capabilities and work with functional groups to refine new tester requirements and specifications. In supporting engineering and manufacturing, you will provide applications support to worldwide equipment users and collaborate with manufacturing sites on the integration and qualification of internal testers. Your role will also involve providing processes and tools necessary for maintaining and debugging the internal tester fleet, as well as addressing manufacturing and engineering tester issues in a timely manner. Finally, you will be expected to communicate and mentor effectively, sharing technical information to enhance awareness and knowledge within the department and the larger industry. You will accurately store and share tester documentation globally and engage in the development and training of engineers using the internally developed testers.
