Requirements

BSEE/BSEET in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in high power testing. Other equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
Strong project management skills required
Demonstrates high attention to detail and accuracy
Project Management
Excellent communication skills with a professional attitude towards customer relations.
Self-directed, good problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of AC and Power Distribution products is preferred.
Lean & Sig Sigma certifications or equivalents is desired
Possess advanced experience in plant layout
Intermediate AutoCAD skills preferred

Responsibilities

Recommend solutions for enhancing test manufacturing efficiency.
Day-to-Day resolutions of manufacturing/test issues encountered during execution
Leads design and deployment of electrical test fixtures and work instructions.
Creates and Maintains Process FMEAs and translates them into control plans.
Tooling, fixturing and assembly-aid design, integration and implementation.
Lessons-Learned from previous builds or process modifications.
Design for manufacturing analysis of new designs.
Investigate, purchase, and support the implementation of tooling and equipment for future strategic initiatives
Owns the development and maintenance of new/current time standards/routings, and costing.
Supports safety initiatives.
Direct documentation of all Test related standard operating procedures within the applicable business area.
Keep Test Manager informed of progress/problems. Recommends changes in procedures.
