Requirements

  • BSEE/BSEET in Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent degree and a minimum of 2 years' experience in high power testing. Other equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Strong project management skills required
  • Demonstrates high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Self-directed, good problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of AC and Power Distribution products is preferred.
  • Lean & Sig Sigma certifications or equivalents is desired
  • Possess advanced experience in plant layout
  • Intermediate AutoCAD skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Recommend solutions for enhancing test manufacturing efficiency.
  • Day-to-Day resolutions of manufacturing/test issues encountered during execution
  • Leads design and deployment of electrical test fixtures and work instructions.
  • Creates and Maintains Process FMEAs and translates them into control plans.
  • Tooling, fixturing and assembly-aid design, integration and implementation.
  • Lessons-Learned from previous builds or process modifications.
  • Design for manufacturing analysis of new designs.
  • Investigate, purchase, and support the implementation of tooling and equipment for future strategic initiatives
  • Owns the development and maintenance of new/current time standards/routings, and costing.
  • Supports safety initiatives.
  • Direct documentation of all Test related standard operating procedures within the applicable business area.
  • Keep Test Manager informed of progress/problems. Recommends changes in procedures.
