Job Description: Leidos is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia, Maryland . This position supports a team providing software development services for an organization responsible for disseminating data to customers across the Intelligence Community. Following an initial 6–8 week onboarding period, this role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with up to 50% remote work. One in-office day (Wednesday) is required; the remaining schedule is flexible. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes Performing User Interface testing against requirements Identifying data to be used during testing Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts Experience in testing for accessibility Defining test strategies for future capabilities Managing project artifacts Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices

Requirements

  • Masters in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates without Masters Degrees will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Twelve or more years’ directly related technical experience
  • Eight or more years of test engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)
  • Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
  • GIT
