Join us and make a difference in National Security! Job Description: Leidos is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test Engineer to join our team in Columbia, Maryland. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.

Requirements

  • Masters in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Candidates without Masters Degrees will be considered on a case by case basis.
  • Twelve or more years’ directly related technical experience
  • Eight or more years of test engineering experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with manual testing and with using automated tools (e.g. Cypress, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Java)
  • Experience with regression and integration testing (in multiple environments)
  • GIT
  • Linux
  • Putty

Responsibilities

  • Designing, developing, and implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes
  • Performing User Interface testing against requirements
  • Identifying data to be used during testing
  • Developing automation tests using Visual Studio (VS Code) and Cypress
  • Developing automation tests using Eclipse and Java
  • Working in GIT to push/pull automation test scripts
  • Experience in testing for accessibility
  • Defining test strategies for future capabilities
  • Managing project artifacts
  • Determining appropriate project methodologies and practices
