RII is seeking a Senior Test Engineer with deep expertise in software testing within an Agile SDLC environment. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure high-quality software delivery across new features, enhancements, and defect fixes. You will contribute to verification and validation efforts using both manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with development teams to identify, document, and resolve quality issues across performance, integration, and system operations. This position requires an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

  • Developing and supporting system-level test solutions.
  • Preparing and executing comprehensive system and component-level test plans, procedures, and test events.
  • Participating in integrated testing activities and helping resolve conflicts across competing systems.
  • Documenting test requirements, methodologies, and results.
  • Reviewing system engineering documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with testing needs.
  • Supporting the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios for software/hardware integration testing.
  • Monitoring system performance trends and proactively identifying risks or issues.
  • Suggesting process and product improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • 6+ years of experience in software/system testing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience writing detailed test plans, procedures, and scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience testing software in distributed or networked environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Agile development practices.
  • Proficiency with the Atlassian tool suite—JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.
  • Experience using automation testing tools, such as Selenium WebDriver.
  • Background working with Department of Defense Command and Control (C2) Systems.
