Our work depends on a software Test Engineer Senior joining our team to support New York State (NYS) Department of Heath Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) program. This position is based at the GDIT’s office at Riverview Center in Menands, NY. As a software Test Engineer Senior supporting the eMedNY Systems Integration Team, you will be trusted to have an excellent understanding of software integration testing best practices, experience with manual testing tools and have knowledge of health care claims processing. We are looking for a qualified candidate who has a passion for quality to help ensure the systemic integrity of NYS MMIS. Experience with a MMIS, mainframe technologies such as the COBOL programming language and CICS, testing web-based user interface applications, and APIs/Web services is highly desired.
