About The Position

Forge requires a Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our team supporting the U.S. Army. This individual will develop an understanding of the product requirements, develop test plans, and ensure the quality of developed functionality.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen
• Nine years of relevant professional experience
• Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
• Experience with Selenium
• Experience with Java
• Experience with GitLab
• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), Gherkin, and Cucumber syntaxes
• Experience with Performance Testing
• Experience with Test Case development and management
• Experience with Test Plan development
• Experience with Test Plan creation
• 508 testing experience
• Ability to obtain 508 certification within 90 days of start
• Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of start
• Favorable T2 eligibility (worked on government project within last 24 months)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• DoW experience preferred
• Experience with Locust load testing framework
• Active Security Clearance is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support for client methodology, process, and related procedures.
• Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks.
• Creation and maintenance of a Test Plan document and capturing this information in JIRA
• Create and maintain Test Cases for each user story, defect, issue, or incident in JIRA. Each test case is trackable and traceable in the context of a user story, defect, issue, or incident.
• Capturing test results corresponding to each test case mentioned above.
• Develop automation for test case execution in Selenium and other automated testing tools.
• Perform tool-assisted testing for performance testing and security testing
• Provide test reports for established periodic project tracking meetings and on ad-hoc basis.
• Support Quality Assurance process and procedures to build a high-quality application.
• Test application compliance with client security requirements and identify gaps.
• Deliver Enterprise Lifecycle documentation as needed per the project schedule.
• As needed, train client staff in test scripts, continuous integration, or other work areas that the contractor has performed.
