In your role as a Senior Network Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the network infrastructure that supports DHL's global operations. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing SDWAN, LAN, and Wireless LAN and other network solutions to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability that aligns with business goals. Working closely with internal business partners and external suppliers, you will translate complex technical network topics into clear business benefits. You will also be instrumental in defining and maintaining global network standards to guarantee a consistent, high-quality user experience-regardless of whether the service is delivered internally by DHL IT Services or through external partners.

Requirements

  • Architecture expertise in network services (SDWAN, SD-LAN, WLAN, NAC, IPv6).
  • Good understanding of public cloud services is a benefit.
  • Large enterprise IT security experience required.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications and presentation skills required (English).
  • Understanding of priorities and excellent time management - ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • At least 6 years' experience in IT security-related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Professional certifications are nice to have.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize network architectures across services like SDWAN, LAN, and Wireless LAN, balancing performance, security, and cost.
  • Translate technical networking details into business language and benefits for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with global IT and business teams to understand their needs and align network strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain networking standards and policies, ensuring high quality of service across all solutions and providers.
  • Act as the primary contact for network-related issues and projects, ensuring smooth communication with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Evaluate new technologies and contribute to innovation initiatives that improve network efficiency, availability, and security.
  • Support internal audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance efforts related to network infrastructure.
  • Actively participate in projects throughout their lifecycle-from requirements gathering to implementation and post-go-live support.
