About The Position

Peraton is hiring a skilled Systems Engineer (SE) that has experience planning for and managing customer’s technical signals intelligence (TECHSIGINT) modernization program. The SE will support our customer’s TECHSIGINT modernization program planning in the areas of signal processing, data format modernization/standardization, and enterprise architecture planning. This program is a high priority effort aligned with a major thrust of the current national defense strategy. The program is tactically important to the national security of the United States and the work on these missions are frequently recognized for their results and the SE will be directly involved in ensuring the government is successful in achieving their planned objectives of this growing, high-profile program. The selected SE will apply systems engineering principles throughout the various TECHSIGINT systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. The SE will contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents. The SE will facilitate coordination of planning across with other intelligence agencies and military Services to ensure there is community awareness and aid in program alignment across all TECHSIGINT system stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an experienced systems engineer who has knowledge of National Agencies and Military Service TECHSIGINT systems, requirements and challenges. The ideal candidate would also have a knowledge of TECHSIGNT data formats and processing systems. #AJCM

Requirements

  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus nineteen (19) years of general systems engineering experience, OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience, OR
  • A Master’s degree or PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
