The Opportunity PAE is looking for a Senior Technology Security Consultant to lead the Technology Security Consulting Services, focusing on Division 28 Security Practice with responsibilities spanning security design, project management, business development, and team mentorship. This role is open to any of our office locations (Seattle/Portland/San Francisco/New York/Los Angeles/Boston/Denver) or can be fully remote as required. What You'll Do Project team leadership and management, responsible for completing the project on time and within budget Responsible for the preparation of deliverable documents including narratives, calculations, drawings and specifications Attend client meetings, lead the coordination effort between external and internal project teams Independently evaluate and apply design judgment, techniques, and procedures to complete a project from concepts through construction Assemble effective project teams Develop project workplans, tasks and assignments for the team Oversee system calculations and equipment selection Prepare and review opinions of probable construction costs Perform site visits and issues reports Provide training, guidance and mentorship for staff Provide updates to master specifications and standards, and improve company processes Develop client relationships Serve as a technical resource for the company Oversee the application of the project quality management plan (QMP) May be responsible as a Project Manager or the Designer of Record (DOR) with approval What You Bring College Degree or equivalent work experience Relevant professional credential (i.e. CPP, PSP, ESS) Experience in physical security core technologies, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion alarm systems required Requires a minimum of 1-3 years Technology Designer 4-, or 8-10-years’ related work experience Advanced understanding of technology design concepts and ability to effectively communicate design options to a diverse stakeholder group Extensive knowledge of converged infrastructure and ability to lead the design of physical security, telecom, and other technology systems Thorough understanding of interdisciplinary coordination Advanced understanding of the application of building codes and technology industry standards Thorough understanding of project phases and their associated deliverables Strong delegation skills Proactive and effective communicator Attention to detail and advanced organizational skills Knowledge and application or NEC and relevant building and energy codes Microsoft Office Suite Bluebeam PDF editor Limited Revit/AutoCAD preferred What We Offer Hiring Base Salary Range: $118,000-$168,700 annual This position is eligible for time and a half overtime pay The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity and geographic location in determining exact salary offered. Requirements
