About The Position

Red Wing is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Business Technology unit, responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver project(s) that span across one or more business units, including managing resources, schedules, financials and to adhere to guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This role will also deal with management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery, and contribution to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery. The Sr. Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis, verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality within the specified constraints of time and cost, and to achieve the potential benefits defined in the business case. This role is a hyflex work arrangement, requiring 1-day a week onsite in Red Wing, MN, with remote work eligibility the remainder of the week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related fields, with a minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects is required.
  • Understanding of scrum principles and ongoing product delivery
  • High levels of executive presence, communication and stakeholder management skills required.
  • Strong planning and prioritization abilities within iterative cycles.
  • Experience with backlog management and working closely with Product Owners.
  • Ability to manage scope, time, and resources in a flexible, adaptive way.

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum experience preferred.
  • Azure DevOps experience preferred but not required.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Supply Chain and/or infrastructure related projects.
