Job Summary Equinix is looking for an experienced Technology Program Manager to join Equinix’s Digital and Innovation Organization’s (DIO) Program Management Office (PMO) team. The Ideal candidate will possess strong experience in leading and managing strategic transformational projects/ ARTs as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Solution Train Engineer (STE) for a large technology portfolio. They can help design, train, facilitate PI Planning events and coach people in specific agile practices to achieve higher levels of scrum and SAFe maturity. You will work as a member of a growing and highly skilled software development group with the responsibility of guiding teams to ensure the development team adheres to the common agile practices and rules, as well as coach the teams on improving impediments to deliver the greatest value to Equinix customers We’re looking for someone that has: The ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, multi-timezone, high-energy environment and to deliver business value outcomes for assigned initiatives. Requirements

• 10+ years of technical project management experience
• Strong technical proficiency in Jira and Confluence, with hands-on experience in customizing and optimizing these tools for Agile teams
• SAFe Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related technical field
• Proven experience in Agile Transformation, with experience as an Agile Coach or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• Demonstrated expertise in executing large-scale SAFe PI planning events, including facilitation of priority-setting sessions with executives to achieve consensus especially when viewpoints diverge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-informed decision-making

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related technical field
• SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or equivalent
• Experience working in both startup and enterprise environment, ideally in a technology company or the technology org of companies from other domains and industries
• Other Project Management certifications (i.e. PMP)

Responsibilities

• Act as the RTE or STE for one or multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs), facilitating PI planning, execution, and continuous improvement by engaging participants to define Agile Goals, Initiatives, Capabilities, Epics, and User Stories
• Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business strategy during PI planning
• Lead retrospectives and inspect-and-adapt sessions to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable solutions
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of program objectives, managing dependencies and risks effectively
• Ensure compliance with SAFe principles and practices, providing guidance and support to teams in their Agile journey
• Define Agile metrics, implement Agile metrics, run and monitor Agile reports, identify Agile operation issues, recommend improvements, and implement improvements to Scrum teams
• Facilitate the adoption of SAFe methodologies, including the establishment of Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on Agile initiatives and business objectives
• Lead Steering Committee meetings with Sr. Leadership and C-level executives to provide an all-encompassing program status update.
• Support financial tracking and reporting for projects and programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Identify and manage cross-functional dependencies across projects and programs, ensuring alignment and collaboration among teams
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and metrics (velocity, burndown, backlog health) using Jira and Confluence
• Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate at all levels of the organization.
