Overview: Lead the Global Design Engineering function of the Network Deployment and Execution team including technical scope and conformance to global network standards while developing relationships with various stakeholders. The role will produce wholistic network designs for Network Services projects to document the low level design solutions. This role is key to ensure quality for network delivery and stability and will work within Network Standards and in conjunction with Product Architecture and Engineering to ensure client satisfaction. The technology areas of focus for the Design Engineering - Senior Service Delivery Manager includes the breath of Network Services for data network connectivity. This role is expected to be well versed in numerous networking protocols and technologies as well as project planning and design engineering. The use of automation to solve historical/manual problems is also a key focus. The work is always in alignment to the current and approved Network Services Standards, Change Management Policies & Procedures, governance, and management policies set forth by the firm. This position will interface directly with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/providers, architecture, product engineering, product management, and Service Engagement. At times, they may interface with various levels of senior management. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are a must as well as technical expertise across Networks. The candidate must be able to work globally and on their own and successfully in team settings in various sizes and locations. Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates, systems, and artifacts are important to the success of the individual, the department, and the firm at large. The Design Engineering Senior Service Delivery Manager will be considered a subject matter expert in their field and is expected to stay current with various technologies, organizational goals, and industry trends to drive end to end value.
