About The Position

PTC is seeking an energetic, hard-working candidate to join the Onshape Technical Training team as a Senior Technical Training Engineer. This role is responsible for creating engaging training material, including CAD models, documentation, and video production, as well as developing and delivering live and recorded product training. The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge in mechanical engineering and various engineering applications such as CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, and FEA, and will be adept at effectively communicating product differentiators. This position reports to the Manager, Training and is a remote role based in the US.

Requirements

• Experience with engineering software such as CAD, PDM, PLM, CAM, FEA, etc.
• Experience providing software product training.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Video creation experience with Camtasia, Adobe Premiere, or similar software.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum 3-5 years working in an engineering role or role working for an engineering software company

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Thought Industries or a similar Learning Management System is ideal but not required.
