About The Position

The Sr. Technical Talent Acquisition Partner role is a full life cycle recruitment position responsible for partnering with TA stakeholders to identify, attract and acquire top talent to support Orion’s organizational needs. Consulting and relationship management skills are used to influence and drive TA team members and recruitment outcomes. This includes developing practical and creative ways to engage, nurture, and select leading talent through high-touch candidate and manager experience models to ensure Orion is looked at as a talent destination. The person in this role will have project management and recruiting experience to meet client satisfaction goals for a best-in-class experience. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner provides work direction, guides customers on various talent processes, and serves as a point of contact throughout the recruitment cycle. This is a temporary, 6-month role with the possibility of extension. For External Candidates: Candidates must work in-office at one of the following locations for at least 3 days per week: Omaha, NE or Lehi, UT.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of full cycle recruiting experience required; at least 4 years in a corporate setting preferred.
  • Experience in Finance industry preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Workday experience is a plus.
  • Experience in the deployment and implementation of recruiting strategies.
  • Experience working closely with senior leadership, strong executive presence.
  • Experience working with teams across locations and business lines.
  • Equivalent education and experience will be considered

  • Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts intake meetings and weekly touchpoints with Hiring Managers to align on position requirements and discuss recruitment strategy.
  • Proactively communicates with Hiring Managers about positions at-risk and escalate at-risk positions to Manager, Talent Acquisition.
  • Owns and prioritizes multiple requisitions across subsidiaries.
  • Communicates effectively with interview panels to ensure preparedness during the interview process.
  • Partners with Hiring Managers to identify key competency questions for interview consistency and quality.
  • Focuses on effective networking methods to reach the greatest number of potential candidates through internet sourcing, industry leads, key contacts, colleges, universities, and other applicant databases to develop an active network of financial services professionals.
  • Manages recruitment activities from gathering new requisitions, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and candidate communication.
  • Prepares ideal candidate slate with an appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Work closely with business leaders to influence effective recruitment approaches, set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback
  • Promotes opportunities creatively that builds and maintains an employment brand.
  • Participates in special projects and recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging internal sources of talent.
  • Challenges the validity of given procedures and processes with the intent to enhance and improve while recommending ideas and strategies that contribute to the long-range growth of Orion.
  • Supports hiring through offer letter and transition of candidate to onboarding.
  • Shares and exchange information with all levels of management while communicating effectively with HR partners and other teams.
  • Maintains recruitment data, track placements, and identify other trends through hiring metrics.
  • Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements and to provide information about organization and position to candidate.
  • Acts as Subject Matter Expert as it relates to recruiting function.
  • Ensures compliance with established recruitment and hiring procedures, and laws and regulations.
