Requirements

  • 14+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 12+ years with a MS degree.
  • Experience with Systems Engineering principles, including system design, development, integration, test, and evaluation.
  • Experience in technical integration, particularly in a legacy system modification project.
  • Experience integrating various subsystems and components to meet system requirements.
  • Experience leading Teams and stakeholders during times of uncertainty, creating meaningful work, and assisting the team in various tasks.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and support across multiple disciplines, and facilitating collaboration among stakeholders to drive project success.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in working in an agile environment with an accelerated project timeline.
  • Experience in rapid prototyping, specifically focused on quickly developing and testing system concepts and architectures.
  • A master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working with Avionics systems, including radio frequency (RF), interconnect, and electronic component domains.
  • Familiarity with SYSML, Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) viewpoints, and tools such as NoMagic MagicDraw.
  • Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Processes and Procedures.
  • Active Secret or Top Secret DoD Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems/hardware trade studies, risk reduction planning, systems integration, test planning, and execution.
  • Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility.
  • Establish regular meeting cadences and touchpoints for integrated team, including stakeholder alignments and leadership updates.
  • Perform data reviews and provide feedback to hardware and integration teams.
