About The Position

Join Abridge as a Senior Technical Sourcer and help us identify and engage exceptional technical talent—who will shape the future of healthcare AI. Our Engineering and Product organizations are building world-class technology at the intersection of healthcare and machine learning, and this role is critical to fueling that leadership pipeline. As a key member of the recruiting team, you’ll strategically source and cultivate relationships with high-impact leaders across the industry. You’ll map the leadership landscape within software, infrastructure, ML, and product teams, identifying where the next generation of technical and product leadership talent is emerging. You’ll also act as a strategic partner to recruiters and business leaders, bringing market insights that inform how we attract and engage senior talent. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships with senior leaders, understands organizational design and technical team structures, and is excited to connect exceptional people to a mission-driven company.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in technical sourcing or recruiting, with a focus on machine learning, AI research, or advanced engineering roles.
  • Deep Market Knowledge: Familiarity with top ML/AI conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, etc.), academic labs, and industry-leading researchers.
  • Proven Success: Track record of engaging and converting senior technical talent in competitive markets.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to go beyond filling roles—designing long-term talent mapping and pipeline strategies.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships with senior-level candidates.
  • Curiosity & Tenacity: A researcher’s mindset, driven to uncover hidden talent and creative in finding new pathways to connect.

Responsibilities

  • Source for Product & Data Science Identify, engage, and nurture relationships for senior technical talent across software, data science, and product domains.
  • Market & Org Mapping: Develop deep organizational intelligence on top companies—charting leadership structures, team compositions, and reporting lines across both engineering and product functions.
  • Talent Strategy: Partner closely with recruiters, engineering leaders, and product executives to define ideal leadership profiles, calibrate on role scope, and refine sourcing strategies for high-impact technical and product leadership roles.
  • Candidate Engagement: Craft thoughtful, personalized outreach to inspire engineering and product leaders to explore Abridge’s mission and vision. Build long-term relationships that position Abridge as a destination for top-tier leadership talent.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and manage a steady pipeline of current and future leadership talent to support both near-term and long-term hiring needs across engineering and product.
  • Talent Insights: Deliver actionable market intelligence on leadership talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive movement across engineering and product landscapes.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain clear records and progress tracking in our ATS (Ashby) and ensure consistent communication on pipeline health and sourcing performance.
