About The Position

As a Senior Technical Recruiter, you will own the full cycle of hiring for roles across engineering, manufacturing, software, and operations. You’ll collaborate with hiring managers, build sourcing strategies, drive interview processes, and ensure a great candidate experience from first touch to offer. This position will initially be a hybrid role out of our Peabody, MA office. After a few months, this role will then be hybrid from our Boston location. The exact location is TBD at this time. About Specter Aerospace: Specter Aerospace is developing next-generation hypersonic vehicles using advanced propulsion, precision manufacturing, and rigorous testing. As we scale toward flight testing and production, hiring exceptional technical talent is one of our most important priorities. We’re looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter who can partner closely with engineering and operations teams to build out the organization during a period of fast, meaningful growth.

Requirements

  • Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
  • Several years of recruiting experience, with strong exposure to engineering or technical roles
  • Strong sourcing skills and comfort with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc
  • Ability to understand and speak to technical concepts across engineering, manufacturing, and software domains (at a high level)
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting for hard-to-fill technical roles
  • Strong communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting in aerospace, defense, hardware, manufacturing, or deep-tech sectors.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or BambooHR.
  • Experience supporting or implementing recruiting processes and tools.
  • Interest in the aerospace/hypersonics domain

Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and operations leaders to deeply understand role requirements and team needs
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, outreach, screening, scheduling, feedback coordination, and offer support
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent, including targeted outreach, referrals, industry communities, and events
  • Conduct initial candidate interviews and assess technical and cultural alignment
  • Maintain accurate pipelines and candidate data in the ATS; provide hiring updates and insights to managers
  • Improve recruiting workflows and candidate experience as the team grows
  • Represent Specter Aerospace with professionalism, clarity, and enthusiasm
