The Senior Technical Program Manager will be responsible for managing the scope, impact, and technical complexity of programs through all phases of the product life cycle. This role will manage interdependencies and integrations across projects, teams, and stakeholders. This position will work in conjunction with Product Management and Engineering to ensure the delivery of our roadmap, and deliver the underlying platform systems and applications necessary to support continued system scale, a broadening product portfolio, the basis for new innovative product capabilities, and improve operational efficiencies related to these areas. This position's objectives will be directly linked to business metrics such as revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency; and technical metrics such as system stability, scalability and performance, and quality of service. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Program Management.

  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of technical PLG initiatives across the full engineering stack
  • Work with Technical Leads on Engineering design decisions, and contribute to architectural design reviews to ensure we continue to raise our technical standards
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, UX, Marketing, Sales, Support, Legal, Finance, and IT to deliver best-in-class experience for our customers
  • Keep leadership and business teams updated on project timelines and results
  • Identify program dependencies based on a thorough understanding of existing technical systems design
  • Define end-to-end launch plan, ensuring Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Support, Legal, and Finance dependencies are represented
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering leads to facilitate continuous roadmap planning
  • Define communication plan for programs
  • Lead communication within the team and to stakeholders at cross-functional meetings
  • Ensure adherence to Project Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle while maintaining visibility to Release Management
  • Identify and track risks to project delivery and overall program schedule
  • Work with cross-team leadership to conduct Level of Effort estimation and resource planning
  • Evaluate existing processes and procedures
  • Make recommendations and drive process improvement and adoption of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct change management efforts of moderate complexity
  • Bachelors or Masters, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, Electronics/Electrical, or equivalent technical work experience
  • 8+ years leading cross-functional, global programs
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams for development and launch of large complex programs
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, Research, Engineering, IT, Operations, Legal, Security, Marketing, Sales and Customer Support
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce foundational concepts
  • Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and delivering solutions
  • Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment
  • Ability to lead without authority to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Ability to develop strong cross-team relationships and partnerships
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Confident in working with Executive team members
  • Experience in a company that has scale or experience in both small and large software development organizations
