Service Portfolio Managers / Technical Program Managers for Infrastructure are responsible for tactical and strategic planning of budgetary needs for their area responsibility via partnership with the technical infrastructure leaders in their respective space, as well as facilitating the purchasing and renewal activity necessary to deliver service levels, satisfy capacity growth, perform technical refresh, and fund any associated service stabilization and improvement projects to ensure service levels are being met. Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership of facilities engineering to satisfy tactical and strategic planning of budget forecasts to satisfy the demand signal for Oracle Health Gen1 owned facilities as well as the corresponding Gen1 co-location hosting facilities in the international regions.
  • Partner with the leadership of facilities engineering to forecast the tactical and strategic capital requirements required to satisfy tech refresh needs of the OH-owned data centers in the US - specifically Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, and Malvern.
  • Partner with the infrastructure organization to facilitate data center optimization at all owned and colocation facilities, specifically focused on rack and power optimization, looking for consolidation and other efficiency improvements (e.g. rack defragmentation/consolidation/deprecation) to mitigate the risk of data center facilities space and power being an inhibitor for satisfying the OH demand signal as well as IES-driven initiatives that may require swing space.
  • Serve as liaison between the engineering and finance to satisfy service levels while instilling confidence in business leaders that infrastructure services are being run in a cost-effective manner.
  • Participate in time-sensitive modeling various what-if scenarios related to OH strategic plans and timing for migrations to OCI while maintaining stability of the Gen1 hosting environments.
  • This role will also provide coverage gaps for smaller-scale infrastructure services that currently have no dedicated SPM/TPM coverage such as data protection/backup services and common/shared service such as DNS.
