The Technical Program Manager at NVIDIA will oversee safety engineering tasks related to the development of autonomous vehicle technology. This role involves managing safety engineering activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards. The position is integral to integrating safety and software engineering efforts into NVIDIA's DRIVE products, making the work both exciting and impactful.

  • Drive and supervise safety engineering activities for NVIDIA DRIVE products (e.g. requirements, architecture, test, reviews)
  • Manage risks and resolve issues impacting scope, schedule, and quality
  • Assist in improving processes and procedures within the team
  • Help streamline day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define project scope and coordinate the development and management of project roadmaps, schedules, achievements, and interdependencies within a large organization.
  • BS or higher in Computer Science, Robotics (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years recent industry and Program/Project Management experience driving the planning and execution of software engineering projects, and releasing commercial products
  • Proven record of leading and successfully delivering scalable programs and projects, process improvements
  • Ability to evaluate and drive adoption of new and improved process workflows in scalable organizations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in effectively leading global projects across time zones
  • Background with Jira and/or JAMA, to the point that you can comfortably mentor an engineering team how to use these tools
  • Familiarity with safety and systems engineering
  • Experience in system integration and testing
  • Familiarity with safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, UL4600, ISO21448,..)
