About The Position

This role is the connective tissue between our internal cross functional teams and our cloud provider’s infrastructure, networking, and support organizations. You’ll own three things simultaneously: the vendor relationship (holding our cloud provider accountable on capacity, SLAs, and delivery), the technical integration (driving infrastructure deployments from allocation through production readiness), and the cross-functional program (keeping 5+ internal and external teams synchronized against hard delivery dates). If you’re looking for a role where you schedule meetings and chase status updates, this isn’t it. You need independent technical judgment and the credibility to wield it.

Requirements

  • Technical Depth
  • Working knowledge of server architectures
  • Networking fluency across front-end and back-end.
  • Understanding of data center infrastructure
  • Familiarity with the AI and cloud software stack.
  • Program Execution
  • 5–10 years in technical program management, systems engineering, or infrastructure delivery—at least 4 years in cloud, data center, or large-scale compute environments.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-workstream programs with external vendor dependencies and hard delivery dates.
  • Track record of holding vendors accountable without destroying the relationship.
  • Financial awareness: you can model utilization vs. spend, flag commitment overruns, and quantify the cost of delay.
  • Communication
  • You translate between deeply technical infrastructure discussions and executive-level business impact—in both directions, without losing fidelity.
  • You drive outcomes through technical credibility and preparation, not positional authority.
  • Your written communication is precise, decision-oriented, and surfaces risks.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with cloud infrastructure programs at cloud providers.
  • Prior customer-side experience managing a large-scale cloud infra deployment.
  • Background in systems engineering, network engineering, or data center operations before moving into program management.
  • Familiarity with cloud provider commercial models

Responsibilities

  • Own the operational relationship with our cloud provider(s): capacity commitments, delivery schedules, SLA enforcement, escalation management, and executive-level business reviews.
  • Drive cluster bring-up end to end: server validation, network fabric verification, collective communication topology testing, storage integration, and workload acceptance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate network architecture decisions between our requirements and the provider’s topologies.
  • Own the dependency map across firmware, drivers, compute frameworks, container runtimes, and orchestration layers.
  • Run the integrated program across internal teams and the provider’s delivery team. You own the master schedule, the risk register, and the trade-off decisions.
  • Drive hardware issue resolution across provider support and internal SRE teams.
  • Inform capacity planning and cost optimization.

Benefits

  • Employees hired for this position may be eligible for a sign on payment, relocation package, and restricted stock units, which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans in effect, hired applicants are also eligible for medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits, and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
  • The Employee is also eligible for up to 15 to 25 days of vacation per year (depending on the employee’s tenure), up to 13 days of holidays throughout the calendar year, and up to 10 days of paid sick leave per year.
