About The Position

To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap. You will be responsible for guiding the delivery of various GTA transaction cycle projects that meet expected business outcomes and comply with associated governance and control standards. You will focus on driving development and business analysis to ensure that clear project requirements are obtained and approved while verifying that they are aligned with Engineering timelines, including key milestones, to support target delivery dates.

Requirements

  • Experience with all aspects of the design & development of financial, analytical, and reporting solutions within a large organization, across multiple business areas.
  • Ability to run major projects through completion.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with and present to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience managing delivery with resources across multiple levels and teams, triage tactical priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
  • Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.
  • Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
  • Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.
  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
  • Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
