About The Position

The Senior Technical Product Owner at Johnson & Johnson will play a crucial role in the Abiomed Team, focusing on transforming clinical support tools into software as a medical device. Requirements

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a project management, technical product owner, platform owner, engineer, or similar role
  • Strong compassion for customers
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Data-driven decision-making, balancing customer input and technical needs
  • Proven track record in building relationships across functions within a global business
  • Proven communication skills in translating between technical and non-technical needs
  • Strong verbal, written, communication and presentation abilities; highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a Product Owner / Business Analyst in regulated industry; healthcare / medical device industry preferred
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence) for communication and planning
  • Experience with cardiology medicine and/or medical devices
  • Strong understanding of software as a medical device product development
  • Experience of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
  • Understanding of web & mobile application architecture

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary liaison between the agile team and partners, ensuring clear communication of product vision and goals.
  • Translates the vision and strategy for Abiomed's cloud-based services into an execution plan for the development team.
  • Runs the product backlog, sprint goals, refinement and planning sessions.
  • Reviews and translates product roadmap features and cloud program projects into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
  • Helps establish and maintain policies for working in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs and refining priorities.
  • Monitors and reports on product performance, making data-driven decisions to improve customer experience.
  • Coordinates with internal and external teams for developing integration solutions for the remote monitoring platform.
  • Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions.
