Set long-term strategic objectives for the SRE practice, ensuring alignment with market and business needs. Measure and optimize key metrics to ensure reliability across products. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols. Implement and maintain Service-Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service-Level Objectives (SLOs). Support the vision and strategy for incident management, disaster recovery, performance testing, and chaos engineering. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and iterate on the product roadmap. Build relationships, collaborate, and learn from stakeholders about their friction points related to existing products as well as gaps in existing offerings. Continuously gather feedback and incorporate it into the feature backlog, roadmap, and vision iterations. Measure the success of the vision, roadmap, and backlog in terms of the value provided and iteratively review these measurements. Lead the delivery of the Technical capabilities roadmap in the SRE Organization at AvidXchange.
