We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the definition and execution of our AAU and massive MIMO (mMIMO) radio products. This position is ideally located in Irvine, CA, though San Diego, CA, is also a viable option. This role is highly technical and hands-on, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept through deployment while collaborating with teams across RF, systems, baseband, software, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 8+ years in technical product management, systems engineering, or RF/hardware roles.
  • Strong knowledge of RF chains, antenna arrays, beamforming, DPD/CFR, thermal/power constraints, eCPRI/fronthaul
  • Solid understanding of 4G/5G standards and operator requirements
  • Experience taking RF hardware products to production
  • Strong ability to drive technical product decisions
  • Experience with global engineering/manufacturing teams

Nice To Haves

  • RF/systems/hardware experience
  • Open RAN (7.2x) familiarity
  • Experience with factory calibration, test, and high-volume manufacturing
  • Tier-1 operator/field trial experience
  • MBA or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Translate market needs, customer requirements, and 3GPP/O-RAN standards into product definitions and roadmaps
  • Drive competitive analysis and define differentiated AAU/mMIMO strategies
  • Balance performance, cost, power, size, and manufacturability
  • Support system architecture for multi-band AAU and mMIMO radios
  • Define RF, antenna, power/thermal, mechanical, and environmental requirements
  • Lead technical trade-offs across PA/EIRP, beamforming, DPD/CFR, RF/digital partitioning, and cooling
  • Translate operator requirements into executable specifications
  • Act as product owner across engineering teams
  • Own PRDs, specifications, and release plans
  • Guide technical decisions and unblock execution
  • Support design reviews and performance validation
  • Drive testing, certification, trials, and standards compliance
  • Lead development from concept through production
  • Manage schedules, risks, and dependencies
  • Drive post-launch cost optimization and sustaining
  • Lead end-of-life planning
  • Serve as technical interface to customers and partners
  • Support RFPs, roadmap reviews, and technical deep dives
  • Participate in trials and launch activities
