About The Position

This Senior Technical Product Manager role will drive development of connected software experiences that integrate seamlessly with our iconic cameras. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software, focusing on building intuitive, scalable features that enhance how users connect to and interact with GoPro devices across mobile, cloud, and web platforms. You’ll lead cross-functional efforts to define, build, and optimize experiences that power the GoPro ecosystem. From camera connectivity and media transfer to cloud backup and live streaming. You’ll contribute to product strategy, define technical requirements, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, exceptional collaboration skills, and a user-first mindset, with a track record of delivering cross-platform software features that balance performance, usability, and scale.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of proven experience in software/digital media product development or a related technical role, with at least 4 years of product management experience.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
• Deep understanding of and practical experience with software development methodologies and distribution of a software ecosystem across mobile, cloud and web platforms.
• Effective leader, communicator, presenter and writer who can influence stakeholder groups.
• Fundamentally analytical with a data-driven decision-making approach.
• Experience driving technical product and go-to-market strategy, and design discussions with cross functional groups.
• Passion for building new, innovative technologies and software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and cross functional stakeholders across the business to define, design and bring new software experiences to market.
• Develop and own the strategy, roadmap and execution for new image capture devices that unlock compelling new use cases and software markets.
• Conduct product research and user testing to validate concepts, features, and designs throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Write clear and concise product requirements that define the goals and key performance elements of each feature.
• Define and execute technically complex but intuitive features that have measurable impact on user experience and subscription business.
• Carry products and features from conception and design, through development, launch and iteration cycles.
• Launch, learn, analyze data and iterate.
