The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance.

  • Lead a team or teams of consultants in Agile delivery to build Data Ingestion Framework as part of AIG’s Data Ingestion Strategies.
  • Balance the needs of multiple stakeholders, making sound decisions using data, analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • Take ownership for key project outcomes.
  • Understand technical and deployment architecture.
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture in defining scalable solutions to complex business needs.
  • Deliver reusable frameworks and API integration patterns by partnering with architecture and platform teams.
  • Oversee and assist development teams in executing projects within time and compliant to AIG architecture standards.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Application Development with strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC framework, RESTful API.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry, including understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in Technical Delivery using Agile methodology.
  • A proven track record in execution of large-scale project execution with globally distributed teams.
  • Strong programming skills in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC framework, RESTful API; Pega PRPC knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, Jenkins, Github.
  • Exposure to CI/CD activities and expertise in software development methodologies.
  • Solid understanding of Design Patterns and Microservices concepts.
  • Good working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and models.
  • Strong working knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and RDS.
  • Familiarity with innovative technologies such as Generative AI, Machine Learning, and other emerging tech.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Pega PRPC knowledge.
  • Familiarity with innovative technologies such as Generative AI and Machine Learning.
  • Competitive salary range of $113,000 - $142,500.
