  • Work closely with and assist engineers in various assignments
  • Code in C/HDL targeting microcontroller and/or FPGA platforms
  • Develop PC based Python scripting to communicate with the embedded FW platform
  • Debug issues, investigate possible solutions and present findings
  • Carry out basic work instructions that will help in understanding the fundamentals of the business
  • Conduct testing under the supervision of engineers; Testing may range from dedicated software testing on PC platforms to integrated testing of firmware suites on embedded platforms
  • Complete assigned tasks on time, gather and assemble data for engineers, may be required to help conduct research
  • Conduct design analysis and/or calculations under the supervision of engineers, assist engineers with appropriate design details
  • Interest in and experience with digital electronic circuits, programming and/or embedded systems
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to build a good network
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks to gain familiarity with the engineering staff, methods, programs and practices
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Other duties as assigned
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Firmware/ECE Engineering student; some progress towards firmware engineering degree
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and have the ability to build a good network
  • Must be diligent, hardworking, and quick to learn
