The Senior Technical Data Analyst plays a critical role in designing, developing, and governing enterprise data solutions. This role is responsible for executing and optimizing ETL processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data governance standards, and building advanced reporting and analytics that support decision-making across the business. The Senior Technical Analyst partners with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, while mentoring junior staff and promoting best practices.

  • Implement design, optimization, and governance of advanced ETL processes across multiple systems.
  • Conduct and validate audits, cleansing, modeling, unit testing, and redundancy elimination efforts.
  • Architect scalable data pipelines, custom business logic, and integrations using SQL, Oracle ERP, and enterprise data tools.
  • Design complex dashboards and visualizations that provide actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure enterprise compliance with data security, privacy, and governance protocols.
  • Act as a liaison between business leaders, technical teams, and data stewards, translating needs into strategic data solutions.
  • Guide cross-functional data initiatives, serving as project lead or subject matter expert for analytics, BI, and data management projects.
  • Champion continuous improvement and influence adoption of new data management practices.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts on technical skills, standards, and best practices.
  • Monitor emerging trends in data analytics, visualization, AI/ML, and recommend enterprise adoption strategies.
  • Document standards, workflows, and processes for ETL, data modeling, and reporting.
  • Support evaluation of emerging technologies and provide recommendations for enterprise adoption.
  • Bachelor degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, information systems, or another related field is required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in data analytics, integration, engineering, or equivalent experience, with at least 2 years of experience leading data initiatives or mentoring technical staff.
  • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook) with extensive Excel skills including Power Query, Power Pivot, and VBA.
  • Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills and proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Qlik Data Integration).
  • Proficiency with enterprise-scale data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Skilled in BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, integration frameworks, and governance practices.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and cloud/hybrid data environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Oracle ERP or Oracle Fusion ERP experience.
  • Knowledge of advanced governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Collibra).
  • Programming proficiency in Python, R, or similar for advanced analytics.
  • Experience with AI/ML analytics or predictive modeling.
  • Cloud certifications (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).
