About The Position

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join their Global Product Tech Support team in Miami, Florida. This role is crucial for addressing technical requests and escalations from field Service Engineers and serves as the voice of Service in the New Product Development (NPD) process. The engineer will lead product line technical escalations related to system issues, enhance current system tools and documentation, and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements such as ISO, GMP, and FDA. The position requires independent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues based on multiple information sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biology, clinical lab science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry-related experience with Clinical Diagnostic Instrumentation, or a master's degree with 3+ years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory and automation workflows.
• Experience supporting the release of new user-/service friendly products.
• Ability to lead small projects and processes.
• Experience in developing and delivering technical product training.

Responsibilities

• Lead product line Technical Escalations of system issues from hardware, applications, and connectivity perspective.
• Act as the owner of Service and Support Requirements in New Product Development.
• Enhance current system tools and documentation for effective installation, configuration, and support.
• Meet quality and regulatory requirements and establish policies and procedures.
• Work independently on solutions for assigned complex issues.
