Lam Research is seeking a new team member to create storyboards. What We Do We train Field Service Engineers in a virtual environment to perform semiconductor equipment service tasks. Our Course Developers convert service procedures into storyboards, which guide the VR designers with written and graphic instructions to create the VR courses. Who We Are Looking For You have a technical background, know how to use hand tools, and can follow written work instructions. Maybe you've worked in manufacturing or R&D and have performed assembly work or have worked as a test technician. You are familiar with mechanical drawings and schematics. You could also be a hardware trainer with experience working on/teaching semiconductor capital equipment. You must be detail-oriented, and it would be a plus if you've written procedures (SOPs). What You'll Do Develop professional level storyboards from service procedures using PowerPoint Research storyboard content using CAD drawings, schematics, mechanical drawings, manufacturer spec sheets, etc. Work with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to provide quality assurance on the instructional materials you create Take screenshots and edit images using Snagit Create semiconductor system UI recordings using Camtasia Create narrations using text-to-speech software Produce quality end-products in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Analyze service procedures at start of project to determine VR instruction suitability Facilitate group discussions/meetings with SMEs to align on training content
