About The Position

A division of Harris; Advanced is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant to join their Professional Services team. As a Senior Technical Consultant, you will work closely with a great team to provide complex technical installation and implementation support services for clients; including database administration interface consulting, report development and configuration of our CIS and Web applications. This remote role welcomes candidates anywhere in Canada and the US in the Eastern Timezone. Up to 25% of travel in North America is required. A valid passport/visa is needed for travel. Salary: 70K - 90K What you will be doing: Be the primary technician to the configuration of our software suite to meet our client’s requirements through the utilization of the application’s graphical user interface (GUI), and with the assistance of MS SQL Participate in discovery sessions with our clients to establish the “As-Is” and “To-Be” states of their systems Work in conjunction / guide with our Conversion team to accurately create various mapping documents Assist in capturing customer’s requirements and implementing configurable interfaces through our AIM tool Assist clients with end-to-end system testing and troubleshooting Liaise with 3rd party vendors, end-users, and our client’s IT What we are looking for: 2 - 5 years of experience in customer support / business analysis experience Programming and/or complex scripting experience (SQL, C#, PowerShell) Proven diagnostic and trouble-shooting skills Working with other technically skilled staff on a multi-disciplinary team What will make you stand out: Experience with Crystal Reports An understanding of object-oriented languages such as C# or Visual Basic Experience with Utility Billing and CIS applications Ability to travel at least 25% of the time throughout North America without limitations What we can offer: 3 weeks' vacation and 5 personal days Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverage from your first day of employment Employee stock ownership and RRSP matching programs Lifestyle rewards Flexible work options About us: Advanced Utility Systems Corporation is a software and services company headquartered in Toronto, Canada. Requirements
