About The Position

Valiantys is seeking a Senior Technical Consultant, who will be responsible for delivering technical projects, administering and configuring the Atlassian suite and formulating recommendations and technical solutions to address client needs and technical challenges. They are also expected to have deep technical expertise within the Atlassian space, in order to deliver best in class service to our Customers. The Senior Technical Consultant will be involved in complex projects, as well as informally supporting other technical consultants with their knowledge. You will bridge the gap between business solution needs and technical execution, working closely with our Solutions Consulting team to ensure that what we deliver is not only technically implemented well, but also aligns with the Solution Teams strategy and maturity level.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3–6 years) in ITSM, Agile, or digital transformation consulting.
  • Strong proven experience (3–6 years) knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, BitBucket; Jira Align a plus).
  • Ability to connect technology features with business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially with mixed technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience producing solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with integrations, automation, and reporting ecosystems around Atlassian tools.
  • Experience in migrations of Atlassian applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing solutions with varying technological apps such as Salesforce and/or ServiceNow
  • Experience in pre-sales or solution engineering in a software or services organization.
  • Strong Knowledge of ITIL, SAFe, or Lean-Agile frameworks.
  • Certifications such as Atlassian Accreditations, ACP, ITIL, or SAFe are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and guide team of consultants in implementing technological solutions provided by Solutions Team Member
  • Lead Technical Discovery (what does your system look like, what configurations do you have, what is working well/not working well, etc)
  • Define and document technical architecture, approach, and presentation
  • Serve as main point of contact in designing and implementing technological solutions
  • Technical Work Decomposition (identifying the work that needs to be done and creating it as tasks to be assigned out)
  • Ability to think out of the box and arrive at technological solutions that will satisfy clients needs
  • Designs and configures the system
  • Build integrations/customization's to specifications provided by solutions team
  • Resolve technical issues
  • Ensures system performance and feasibility
  • This member can fluctuate between the Project Team and those with the title of Technical Consultant
  • Responsible for the technical delivery on projects
  • Analyze and implement customer's technical needs and requirements
  • Write technical & functional specifications and requirements
  • Responsible for installation and configuration of Jira and Confluence server from scratch on a Linux platform.
  • Responsible for the creation a cloud environment and implementation per clients specifications
  • Responsible for conducting Server\Data Center to Cloud Migrations
  • Responsible for the implementation of basic to complex Workflows
  • Responsible for specific Add-On development as required
  • Provide advice and make recommendations around technical implementations
  • Deploy, configure, and integrate applications according to customer needs and requirements
