About The Position

A Senior Technical Consultant at Argano is an experienced technical professional responsible for mid to large scale software development tasks as part of client projects. They are responsible for delivering quality work independently on mid-size to large client projects. This role will be on the MuleSoft delivery team. You will need to have the ability to work independently and have a deep working skill set within the MuleSoft Anypoint platform as well as the soft skills to effectively communicate with clients and peers at varying levels of management. Demonstrated experience engaging as a lead developer and trusted advisor to provide architecture recommendations, support the delivery team on the project, educate the client team, identify new business integration requirements, support project delivery, and address any client concerns or questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 5+ years of Technical Consultant experience or in related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing integration solutions using MuleSoft.
• Experience with the following MuleSoft Components: API Manager, API Governance, Visualizer, and Anypoint Monitoring.
• Solid knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST) message queues, and data formats (XML, JSON).
• Experience with CI/CD tools, version control systems (Git-based), and Agile methodologies.
• Understanding Maven Archetypes to create MuleSoft project templates is necessary.
• Active Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer (formerly MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience with Anypoint Code Builder (ACB) or other generative AI tools (e.g. curietech.ai) is a plus.
• Experience with MuleSoft Automation (RPA, IDP) is a plus.
• Experience with MAC and MCP is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and enterprise systems (Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, others).
• Active Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Integration Architect (formerly MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) is a plus.
• Any other Salesforce Certified MuleSoft certifications is a plus.
• Any Agentforce certifications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Defines mid to large size client needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project.
• Works on problems of diverse scope and manage software development projects from conception to delivery.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Optimize and maintain existing systems, identifying areas for improvement.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance development processes.
• Design and implement solutions, gather, and analyze requirements with business owner and organize discussion and infrastructure requirement analysis to meet the defined business criteria.
• Writing documents and providing technical training knowledge transfer.
• Guiding and mentoring other consultants on design and implementation patterns best practices.
