About The Position

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital is seeking a Senior Tech Analyst to join their team. This role involves implementing and supporting a wide range of facility-based IT&S equipment. The Senior Tech Analyst will be the key technical service resource within the facility, responsible for the setup and repair of end-user infrastructure and resolving desktop incidents and requests reported by facility users. The position requires advanced hands-on technical support across various technical areas, and the analyst will participate in 24x7 on-call support with other division staff. The role also includes adhering to HCA IT policies and procedures, recommending process changes, and assisting with project planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or healthcare-related field is preferred.
  • Two years of broad technical experience required.
  • Basic certification in Cisco equipment or Microsoft Products is highly desirable.
  • Valid state driver's license and proof of auto insurance, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support a broad range of facility-based IT&S equipment, including network equipment, servers, terminals, personal computers, printers, and cabling.
  • Provide advanced, hands-on technical support across a broad range of technical user problems; repair equipment and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Communicate and escalate incidents and requests beyond scope of ability to senior service resources.
  • Log and track incidents and requests; review incident and request tracking databases.
  • Provide 24x7 on-call support based on division IT staff rotation.
  • Investigate hardware problems and perform minor system hardware and communication connection repairs.
  • Act as facility lead on technical project implementations; coordinate infrastructure-based needs for facility-based new construction.
  • Participate in meetings, committees, and continuing education to improve individual, departmental, and organizational performance.
  • Aid and train users on proper use of division and/or facility technology.
  • Mentor and train Division Technical Analysts.
  • Participate in facility-based IT project planning as needed.
  • Effectively work with division and corporate IT&S personnel to ensure that division priorities and standards are achieved.
  • Adhere to and support HCA IT&S standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain and protect confidentiality regarding all aspects of patient care and employee information.
