About The Position

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to lead complex engagements for high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial businesses. You'll ensure accuracy and exceptional client service while mentoring staff and collaborating with leadership on strategy, client growth, and process improvements. Strong tax expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence are essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA or EA designation
  • 8-12 years of progressive tax experience, including significant exposure to high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, and multi-entity structures
  • Strong technical knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, with hands-on experience in S corporations, partnerships, and trust taxation
  • Ability and willingness to work in a Siegfried office as required for an average of four days per week (or more) in accordance with Siegfried's then-current policy. (This requirement is subject to change at the discretion of management)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Taxation, JD or a related advanced credential
  • Prior experience at a Big 4 or leading regional accounting/advisory firm
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing S Corporation and trust tax returns
  • Familiarity with sales and use tax compliance and advisory matters

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution of TPC team strategy in partnership with senior leadership
  • Advise high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and family offices on tax planning, compliance, and strategy
  • Oversee client engagements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional service
  • Mentor and develop tax professionals, fostering excellence and accountability
  • Deliver tax strategies aligned with client goals, ensuring compliance and optimization
  • Monitor engagement performance and drive efficiency, profitability, and value
  • Collaborate with leadership on billing, onboarding, and engagement planning
  • Partner with Operations & Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Ensure compliance with firm policies, risk management, and quality standards
  • Leverage technology and analytics to streamline workflows and enhance insights
