This separation provides our team with a bold opportunity to unleash our potential, enabling us to operate with greater speed and agility. As a separate entity, we anticipate leveraging increased investments to drive meaningful innovation and enhance our impact on patient care. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager, Corporate Tax to lead key aspects of our U.S. tax function. This role will be responsible for managing external tax reporting, tax provision, cash tax forecasting, and federal tax compliance for domestic operations and R&D activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and a collaborative mindset to support our growing business and evolving tax landscape. This position will report to the Senior Director of Tax. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of experience in U.S. GAAP Global tax provision, including U.S. income tax compliance (or 5+ years with an advanced degree) plus 5+ years of managerial experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred.
  • Master’s or professional certification (e.g., CTA, CPA) a plus.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 740, IRC Section 482, and related regulations.
  • Skilled in leveraging financial and tax technology platforms to efficiently extract, analyze, and apply system data for reporting and compliance. In particular, experience with tax software (e.g., OneSource Tax Provision, Corptax) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, OneStream).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail including excellent organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to grow and be flexible by assuming increased responsibility and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Tax Provision & Reporting Lead the quarterly and annual U.S. GAAP income tax provisions (ASC 740).
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax reporting and disclosures.
  • Manage deferred tax calculations, uncertain tax positions, and effective tax rate analysis.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee the income tax disclosures in foreign statutory financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and alignment with global tax policies.
  • Develop and maintain cash tax forecasts and models.
  • Financial reporting for divestitures and M&A.
  • Federal Tax Compliance Oversee preparation and review of U.S. federal income tax returns for domestic entities.
  • Manage compliance related to R&D tax credits and other incentives.
  • Ensure timely filing and accuracy of all federal tax obligations.
