About The Position

At Andersen, we offer a thrilling expedition into the world of Tax, Valuation, and Business Advisory. As a Senior Manager in our Private Client Services (PCS) practice, you will oversee multiple engagement teams for a wide range of sophisticated clients, including some of the wealthiest families in the US, family offices, owner-operated business entities, alternative investment fund principals, and trusts and estates. You will engage in business development activities, maintain communication with clients, conduct reviews of complex tax returns, draft technical tax memoranda, and supervise and mentor junior staff. This role provides opportunities for formal training and on-the-job learning with top tax leaders.

Requirements

• 6+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of Private Client experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (Preferred).
• Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (i.e. CPA or JD).
• Self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient use of technology.

Responsibilities

• Engage in business development activities such as preparing proposals and presenting in webinars.
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and meet deadlines.
• Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns, including federal and state filings.
• Draft technical tax memoranda.
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate interns, associates, and senior associates.
• Receive formal PCS and on-the-job training in interactions with top tax leaders.
