About The Position

Senior Tax Manager, North America Location: Princeton, NJ We're looking to build our enthusiastic, passionate and committed Tax team in North America! We're searching for Senior Tax Manager, North America. Here's an opportunity to bring your passion for tax to a new role and help us bring progress to life. You'll be responsible for supervising and assisting with the U.S. and Canadian income tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax audits. This role will support the Head of Tax-North America and other members of the U.S. and Global Corporate Tax Departments. Sound intriguing? Read on.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of public accounting and/or industry experience required with a strong understanding of ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes required
  • CPA a plus
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. Federal and State corporate income tax rules.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Canadian income taxes a plus.
  • Familiarity with the R&D Credit a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including One Source Income Tax Compliance Software (preferred), or similar compliance software.
  • Familiarity with Income Tax Provision Software (Oracle Tax Reporting) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's in taxation a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and assist with the preparation of the Consolidated U.S. Income Tax Return, Form 1120, and supporting forms, statements, and elections.
  • Prepare Section 163(j) Limitation calculation and Form 8990, BEAT calculation and Form 8991
  • Oversee and assist with the preparation of State Income Tax Returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of the U.S Federal, State, and Canadian quarterly income tax provisions and prepare the annual return-to-provision calculation.
  • Manage the Canadian income tax compliance in a co-sourcing arrangement
  • Consult with the Global Tax Department, Global Tax Reporting, Accounting, Treasury, Payroll, Legal and Shared Services Center to collect and furnish information.
  • Conduct tax research as needed to determine contemplated and actual corporate transactions
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation, regulations, and case law and evaluate effect on the Company
  • Train and mentor staff
