About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to join our Alternative Investment Funds practice. As a Senior Manager, you will oversee and complete tax projects, provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance for a variety of clients, including hedge funds, private equity, real estate, fund of funds, and venture capital.

Requirements

• 4+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 3 years of Alternative Fund experience
• Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Preferred)
• Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service (i.e. CPA or JD)
• Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Proficient use of technology
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire
• Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H-1B status)

Responsibilities

• Engage in business development activities, including preparing proposals, presenting in webinars, and collaborating with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients
• Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, remain current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively
• Conduct primary and secondary review of complex federal and state tax returns
• Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of Seniors, Associates, and Interns
