Position: We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a Senior Tax Associate within Troves Tax Division. The Senior Tax Associate is a key member of each of our client teams. The role requires solid tax compliance skills along with strong communication skills needed to interact directly with clients and their other advisors. A successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into multiple roles within the firm.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication, writing, and listening skills
• Team player with a high EQ willing to roll up their sleeves to do what it takes
• The ideal candidate for the position must be willing to learn and apply new concepts and ideas.
• They must be a hard worker and be comfortable sharing unique ideas and concepts.
• 2+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning (public accounting or similar experience)
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, or related/equivalent field

Responsibilities

• Preparation of moderate/complex tax returns for individuals and companies
• First level of review for certain tax returns
• Assistance with 1099s, payroll, and sales tax filings as needed
• Analysis to determine best tax strategies
