As a Senior Tax Analyst within PNC's Finance organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is primarily based in a location within PNC's footprint. This position is entry-level within the tax department and will focus primarily on tax fundamentals, along with coaching in the area of transaction tax, which includes sales and use tax, as well as business personal property tax. In addition to these key responsibilities, the role will also require the new hire to perform various administrative tasks. These will include, but are not limited to, mail distribution, processing check and EFT payments, handling online filing requirements, and any other tasks that may be assigned by a manager. PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Requirements

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and analyzes tax forms for filing in accordance with regulations.
  • Research and monitor appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
  • Preparing appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
  • Working with business units to keep them informed about tax implications of their operation.
  • Mentoring junior staff on appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs.
