Senior Tax Analyst, International Tax at a Glance…. The Senior Tax Analyst, International Tax will be responsible for supporting the Global Tax Department in functional processes, technical solutions, and companywide projects. The individual will play a critical role in assisting with U.S. International tax reporting, ensuring accurate and timely filing with the federal tax return. The individual should be able to identify problems and opportunities within the Tax department to improve efficiency and meet the broader company objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ tax experience with knowledge of international provisions of the Internal Revenue Code and tax accounting in accordance with ASC 740
  • Experience using Microsoft (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with an ability to adapt to change
  • Ability to learn new software and financial systems quickly
  • Periodic travel is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using CorpTax tax compliance software, Thompson Reuters’ OneSource tax provision software, SAP and Oracle’s Hyperion reporting software preferred

Responsibilities

  • Compile and analyze financial information from 150 foreign affiliates required for the preparation of Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865
  • Prepare the calculation for FDII
  • Assist in the ASC 740 tax provision and overall tax accounting processes, encompassing quarterly and year-end reporting, as well as the return-to-accrual processes
  • Support transfer pricing documentation requests
  • Prepare and distribute tax packages to controllership, monitor responses, and follow up on any outstanding responses
  • Prepare IRS audit ready documentation and support with IDR requests
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture and leverage technology tools, such as Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI, to automate and refine tax workflows
  • Utilize automation tools to enhance existing and future processes and document those processes and procedures
