Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ONESOURCE Income Tax and Tax Provision software packages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review trial balances and other financial information
  • Identify and analyze permanent and temporary differences
  • Calculate current tax expense and current and deferred taxes
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and year-end income tax provisions
  • Maintain tax account roll-forward schedules
  • Reconcile estimated and actual effective tax rates
  • Prepare tax journal entries
  • Prepare estimated and extension tax payments for federal and some state and local tax returns
  • Prepare corporate income tax returns for federal, combined states/cities and stand-alone states/cities
  • Support federal and state income tax audit defense activities
  • Analyze tax risk exposure
  • Review Information Document Requests and prepare and review responses
  • Manage the review and response to audit-related notices
  • Interact with auditors
  • Perform federal and state income tax research and planning as necessary to support current and future business transactions or operations
  • Support special projects as necessary
