Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 3 - 5+ years of tax experience with a focus on corporate taxation
• CPA or in process of obtaining
• ASC 740 experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong Excel skills

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in accounting or similar, preferred
• Big 4 or large regional accounting firm experience preferred
• Experience with Alteryx is a plus
• Working knowledge of ERP systems will be an asset
• Knowledge of OneSource OTP and OIT

Responsibilities

• Preparation of year end and quarterly ASC 740 calculations
• Preparation of a large consolidated federal tax return and extensions
• Ensure timely payment of federal, state, and local estimated tax payments
• Research on various tax matters
• Responding to federal and state tax authorities on issues as they are identified
• Improve tax processes through technology
• Work with third party on outsourced state tax returns
• Work with third party on outsourced Canadian tax compliance
• Forecasting and planning on a monthly basis
