About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. This role requires a strong background in public accounting, tax preparation, and review. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to provide clients with accurate, compliant, and strategic financial solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Public Accounting (required).
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proven experience in tax preparation, tax return review, and account reconciliations.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

Nice To Haves

• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses prior to final partner review.
• Prepare complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Perform account analysis and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide tax planning support by evaluating client financial situations and recommending tax-efficient strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to collect documentation, address inquiries, and provide clear financial guidance.
• Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide informed advice.
