About The Position

The Talent Sourcing team is critical to the continued success at Biogen and our future growth plans. As a member of this multidisciplinary team, you will be a strategic talent advisor who specializes in talent identification, outreach, and engagement efforts focused on our Pharmaceutical Operations & Technology (PO&T) vertical. In this evolved role, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders to translate business and workforce priorities into actionable recruiting strategies, and you will advise and influence talent decisions through data-driven market and talent intelligence. You will also drive continuous improvement across sourcing and recruiting practices, optimizing tools, processes, and reporting to strengthen candidate and hiring leader experiences while building diverse, proactive pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 6+ years of sourcing/recruiting experience in agency/executive search or corporate environments
  • Demonstrated knowledge with an array of progressive sourcing techniques, including direct sourcing of passive candidates, gathering competitive/market intelligence, job boards, leading-edge internet and social media sourcing techniques, networking/referral driven sourcing
  • Experience conducting market research, mapping organizations, name generation, and candidate development
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management capability, including setting and managing expectations with hiring leaders, recruiters, and HR partners, and comfortable influencing through data and consultative guidance
  • Ability to develop, analyze, and report on talent pipelines and recruiting metrics; experience translating insights into actions and stakeholder-ready updates
  • Strong candidate assessment skills, cold-calling, relationship building and experience in behavioral interviewing techniques
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to adapt to and learn new technologies and ways of working; experience supporting change adoption and process optimization preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-prong sourcing strategies for assigned searches and priority talent segments; maximize sourcing channels and referral networks with measurable goals and outcomes.
  • Build and maintain active pipelines aligned to current and forecasted skills gaps within your function; continuously refresh pipeline strategy based on demand planning and market signals.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Recruiting Partners, HRBPs, and hiring leaders aligning on role intake, success profiles, sourcing approach, and stakeholder communication cadence across searches.
  • Produce and present market and talent intelligence (e.g., talent supply/demand, competitor mapping, compensation and location insights, diversity availability, funnel conversion) to inform search strategy and workforce decisions; deliver recurring pipeline and sourcing performance reporting.
  • Prepare candidate slates, conduct in-depth candidate interviews, and provide calibrated assessments and recommendations to Hiring Managers and Recruiting Partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, testing enhancements, and supporting adoption of new tools; document best practices and influence standard work to improve quality, speed, and stakeholder experience.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to lead conference and event strategy when needed, including pre-event candidate outreach, onsite engagement, and post-event follow-up; track outcomes and share learnings to improve future efforts.
  • Represent Biogen at relevant professional meetings/conferences, career fairs, networking events, college fairs, and diversity events to expand and strengthen talent communities.
  • Ensure staffing activities are conducted in compliance with corporate, local, state, and federal guidelines.
