About The Position

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist leads full-cycle recruiting efforts to attract high-quality talent across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience. The role also supports employer branding initiatives and continuous process improvement. The Specialist leverages labor market expertise and data insights to inform hiring decisions. This position plays an essential part in building a strong, inclusive workforce that supports organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in recruiting and talent acquisition.
  • Experience with ATS platforms and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to build processes and teams.
  • Full-cycle recruiting expertise.
  • Experience in recruiting for technical, professional, or specialized roles.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of full-cycle, high volume, recruiting experience.
  • Experience supporting hiring managers and Senior leaders.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or Talent Acquisition–related certification (preferred).
  • Additional HR or recruiting certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for professional, technical, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and guide selection decisions.
  • Proactively source and engage top talent through job boards, social platforms, networking, and industry partnerships.
  • Manage and optimize the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
  • Conduct screening interviews, evaluate candidate qualifications, facilitate interview processes, and schedule pre-employment and development assessments.
  • Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for future workforce needs.
  • Provide data-driven insights, including recruiting metrics and labor market trends, to improve hiring outcomes to Director of Human Resources and Leadership.
  • Represent the organization at career fairs and recruitment events including college recruiting programs. Manage campus engagement and university relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support continuous improvement of talent acquisition processes and tools by leading and supporting strategic initiatives and programs related to talent acquisition, development, and retention as they arise.
